Tiffany Lee

Theory | Department Head

Tiffany is a 5th generation Chinese-Canadian who speaks fluent English, Cantonese & some Mandarin. She has been a music theory and piano teacher since 1992 with experience in all areas of music theory, history, and piano. She holds her ARCT (Toronto) and ALCM (London) diplomas in addition to a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia. Her principal teachers for piano and music theory have included Edward Parker, Mary Tickner & Gaye Alcott.

Tiffany enjoys educating students in an encouraging and fun classroom setting using as many creative teaching methods as possible. Previous teaching appointments have included the Agape Music Centre (Vancouver) and the Arts Connection (Steveston, Richmond). Tiffany is a dedicated teacher who ensures that every student has the best possible learning experience and encourages students to progress at their full potential. Teaching accelerated theory courses for the quick completion of examinations is her specialty. Tiffany’s students consistently achieve First Class Honours with Distinction examination results and many have also scored perfect 100% exam marks!
