Since its founding in 1986, the British Columbia Conservatory of Music has provided a level of musical education among the highest available in Canada. Whether students plan to pursue a career in music—either as a teacher or performer—or are learning strictly for their own enjoyment, the British Columbia Conservatory offers the opportunity to achieve their goals with the guidance of an excellent and dedicated faculty of teachers and musicians.
