This adaptation of Czerny’s op 139 no. 36 focuses on a nimble cross-over movement for the left hand. There are two main articulations required here. The left hand, which identifies the first pulse of each beat plays staccato with a slight accent and second, the right hand plays a contrasting, two-note legato slur on the last two pulses of each triplet figure.
