Song Without Words (Op. 102 No. 3) - Mendelssohn

CA$3.00

An excellent opportunity to focus on finger staccato in repeated pattern passages. Measures 9-23 focus on two-note slurs for the right hand against staccato chords for the left hand. Release each right hand slur with a quick upward roll of the wrist. The forearm staccatos in measures 3 and 4 are indicative of the subtlety of the wrist that is required here. Slow learning of notes must precede the careful attention to the light articulation throughout.

Pages: 2
Tempo: ♩. = 112-120
Grade: Grade 9
Composer: Felix Mendelssohn
Edition: 2022
