Study in C Major - Duvernoy

CA$3.00

The study provides the opportunity for light, nimble fingerwork for both hands. In the opening six measures, and other similar ones as they appear, the right hand plays the melody and accompaniment simultaneously. The stem-up sixteenth notes are played with a sharp, detached staccato while the remaining sixteenths are considerably softer and legato in nature. Notice the frequent duet nature between both hands. Consider this in shaping the phrases for best musical results.

Pages: 1
Tempo: ♩ = 108-120
Grade: Grade 4
Composer: Jean-Baptiste Duvernoy
Edition: 2022
