A musical work with attention given to playing staccato and legato thirds. The staccato thirds at the beginning should be shaped as indicated in order to establish a sense of direction for each phrase. Maintain legato playing in the left hand to contrast with the right hand activity. Section B allows for a brief conversation between the hands in the thirds motive, culminating in a crescendo and the da capo Del Segno as indicated.
