Golnaz Asghari
Piano
A classically trained pianist and dedicated music educator, Golnaz brings over 14 years of international teaching experience in Iran and Canada. Specializing in classical piano instruction, solfège, and music theory, she works with both children and adults, guiding students toward artistic growth and musical excellence.
With extensive expertise in preparing students for RCM and ABRSM examinations, Golnaz has also organized educational concerts, recitals, and performance opportunities that help students gain confidence and stage experience. Beyond teaching, she has demonstrated strong leadership as a department director, developing curriculum, coordinating concerts, managing faculty teams, and shaping successful music programs.
Golnaz holds a Master’s degree in World-Class Instrumentalist (2015–2018) and a Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling (2008–2014), both from the Islamic Azad University, Department of Art and Architecture in Tehran, Iran. Currently based in Canada, she continues to prepare students for BCCM and RCM examinations, as well as local recitals, while also offering lessons in music theory and solfège.
From 2016 to May 2025, Golnaz served as Director of the Classical Music Education Department at Kaman Musical Institute in Tehran, where she oversaw faculty, developed curriculum, organized exams and concerts, and provided guidance for students preparing for international examinations. Additional teaching roles between 2011 and 2024 include piano instruction at Hamnavaye Ghasedak Institute, Razan Musical Institute, Bedaheh Musical Institute, and Avaye Mehre Aeen Institute, as well as Orff method teaching in kindergartens and at Traffic Park (District 4).
