Little Toccata (Op. 139 No. 98) - Czerny

CA$2.50

Broken chords played between the hands is the focus of this study. The first note of each four-note group should be emphasized to define the pulse and establish melodic direction. Maintain a smooth connection between the hands. The second note of each group played by the left hand should be connected to the first note of the right. The last note of the group is then played with a gentle yet quick phrase release motion rolling the wrist slightly upwards to avoid any harsh sound.

Pages: 2
Tempo: ♩ = 116-138
Grade: Grade 6
Composer: Carl Czerny
Edition: 2022
